The tekmarNet® Thermostat 553 is a communicating touchscreen thermostat designed to operate two heating stages, one cooling stage, a fan and relative humidity. The heating stages can be hydronic, forced air or a single stage heat pump. The cooling stage is either an air conditioner or heat pump. There are two auxiliary sensor inputs available to measure room, floor, outdoor, coil or duct temperature. The optional floor sensor allows precise heating of radiant floors by controlling the floor temperature and maintaining the desired room air temperature. Relative humidity level can be measured and controlled using the built-in humidity sensor. The large touchscreen allows you to easily adjust 7-day programmable schedules and room temperature to optimize comfort and energy savings. The 553 can connect to tekmarNet® controls using two or four wires or it can operate as a stand-alone device.

The Snow Melting Control 680 is designed to operate electric or hydronic equipment to melt snow or ice from any surface including driveways, walkways, business entrances, parking ramps, loading docks, hospital entrances, helipads and car wash bays. The 680 communicates with Building Automation Systems using BACnet® or Modbus® for alert notification, remote monitoring and adjustment capability. It uses a tekmar Snow/Ice Sensor 090 or a Snow Sensor 095 to automatically detect snow or ice on the snow melting slab. Up to two snow/ice sensors can be installed, thereby increasing detection area and providing backup redundancy in the case of sensor failure. Upon detection of snow or ice, the 680 operates an electric heating cable, a single hydronic condensing or non-condensing boiler, or a steam valve to provide heat to the snow melt load. The 680 provides boiler return protection by operating a mixing valve or variable speed injection mixing. Monitoring of energy consumption is possible when it is connected to an optional flow sensor.

The 3-Way Brass Mixing Valve 710 is used to mix supply water from a hydronic source with water returning from a system. It is designed for use in either closed loop or open loop hydronic systems. This 3-way valve has standard female NPT threads, as well as a maximum leak through rate of 1% to allow for water expansion during temperature changes. The valve position can be manually set using the handle. An Actuating Motor 741 can be used to automatically operate the valve.

The Coupling Kit M3046 is a replacement kit for use with the Actuating Motor 741. The kit includes one replacement coupler with white arrow, one replacement coupler with red arrow and two replacement anti-rotation bolts. This kit would be needed if the original coupler or anti-rotation bolts for the 741 became lost or damaged.

The Mixing Valve Handle Kit M3047 is a replacement kit for use with the 3-Way Brass Mixing Valves 710 thru 714 and 4-Way Brass Mixing Valves 720 thru 724. The kit includes a replacement manual valve handle, a brass screw, a “C” clip, and a position indicator plate. This kit would be needed if the original mixing valve handle for the mixing valve became lost or damaged.

The Actuating Motor Adaptor Kit M3048 includes two pairs of anti-rotation bolts. This kit is an optional device used for mounting the Actuating Motor 741 to a non tekmar brass mixing valve. The mixing valves this kit may be used with are Danfoss or ESBE 3MG and 4MG, Danfoss or ESBE G1 and G4 series.
